I looked at the Pro-T and see it's really a rather different design for
MF cameras. It's designed such that you hold the camera rather than the
bracket. Other designs like the Quick Flip 350 are actually designed to
put the bracket handle on the left. You can easily reverse them to put
the handle on the right but I don't know why you would. You can also
tell that it's designed to be on the left since that's the only
orientation where the logo faces front. Our cameras don't say Olympus
(in large letters) on the back. I think you'll get what you want (and
not more) for $20.

But to do what you want you have to put the flash on the left side. If the flash is on the left you still have full control of the shutter button and other controls on the E-M5 using your right hand. Since you already have a TTL cable you just attach one end to the arm on the Stroboframe and the other end to the hot shoe. Chuck NorcuttThanks, Chuck. Yeah, I was kinda leaning that way. I have a Stroboframe Press*T, unfortunately it's not straight across and is definitely engineered for right-side use only. I like the one in the link, and for only $18, definitely worth a try, especially if I can put it on the left side. Thanks for the tip. I like this option a lot. -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
