You might consider adding a tether, Mike. That's what I've done on eyecups
and aux finders. A length of mono fishing line looped around the damn
little things, and a tiny snap hook* on the other end to clip on your strap
ring. You would have to drill a small hole near the edge of the cup you
showed.
