Probably that as well - I checked and noise reduction was on. Hmm, maybe
try turning that off too next time and do all the NR in post.
Not necessarily the best idea. It's a different kind of NR. After the exposure, the camera takes a second exposure of
equal length with the shutter closed, then subtracts the noise of second from first. So it's specific to individual
sensor system, temperature, etc., unlike generic NR in post.
You might try a couple of tests with and without.
