I received the same offer, but passed as I'm saving for u43 lenses. But I do
carry an old Stylus 850 with similar water/shock properties when fishing or
hunting. Only 8mb, but amazing what you can pull out of those jpegs sometimes.

(UTC)Subject: [OM] Successful Olympus order
Like Chuck, I've more than once responded immediately on receipt of an email
special offer from Oly, only to be unable to buy.
I suspect last time was because the last one had already been sold while I was
in process of trying to order, and the web site didn't catch up with itself in
a sensible way.
Anyway, I just actually ordered today's special refurb offer. Occasionally,
I've wished I had a waterproof camera along; last when kayaking on the
Presumpscot river in Maine last Sept. And who knows, we may go in the water in
Cabo next month.
So, barring any other weirdness, I'll have a $120 Oly TG-850 for those
occasions, arriving here in a couple of days.
I know, probably mediocre JPEGs. But hey, the camera that can go where others
can't is the best one, as it's the only one to take pics. :-)
And many of them leaked when new, but I'm thinking newly refurbed means the
seal fix has been applied.
