Your search terms (1963 and 4.2 litre) don't match the production. The
4.2 litre engine didn't come along until late in 1964. I had a '64 with
4.2 engine and triple SUs that looked just like this '63 from your
search below

I've often thought I'd like to have it back but probably couldn't afford
any more. :-)
The XKE is the only car I've ever owned that can easily go from a
standing start in 4th gear with just a tiny bit of clutch slippage.

Nice. I've always like Avanti's, even the post-Studebaker ones.
It's still an attractive car, even by today's standards.
