I'm not all that keen on one-touch lenses, but I was interested in trying
out one of these super-zooms to see if it would be useful for casual field
work, such as strolling though the Desert Botanical Garden. I would have
preferred the Sears/Kiron version as it has a 72mm filter ring and a slightly
longer focusing control, but my experience with the Samyang 100-500mm got my
attention. For now, it seems to have been a good choice.
