Back in those days I didn't do much landscape stuff and rarely used a
tripod. If I did shoot landscapes I was more likely to use the 24mm or
35mm. My moderate tele was the 85/2 and that was generally used for
portraits where really sharp is not so desirable. I depended on the
palm of my hand to be the shock absorber. Works fairly well. :-)
