I guess I'll have to re-read the A7 review on DPR much more closely. I
admit to skimming the A7 review and noticed no such similarities between
E-M1 and A7.

Already exists. The SONY A7(R/S) is as close as I think we'll come.
While you think I'm being snarky, I'm actually not. SONY and Olympus
imaging divisions are now step brothers. The similarities between the
E-M1 and A7 are not by accident.
