These photos are reminding me that I could take a similar set of empty
manufacturing buildings around here. There's another empty GE complex,
two IBM complexes and multiple Endicott-Johnson facilities (shoe
factories) in two adjacent towns. All told they used to house probably
30,000 employees and all of them are less than 10 miles from me. Some
only 2 miles.
