My wife's Prius had an unfortunate time/space conflict with the rear dualies of a school bus. It was a twisty service road between the schools with tall curbs (Priui don't handle curbs well). School bus going the opposite direction cut the corner short and the rear wheels proceeded to use the front end of the Prius as a ramp. Remarkably, it did very well. The left-front suspension was trashed and the left fender and bumper munched, but it kept her safe. Never figured that a Prius would handle the weight of a school bus very well, but it did. -- Ken Norton ken@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.zone-10.com -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
