I did witness a partially squashed VW beetle where the driver had tried to
sneak past on the left of a left turning semi !
A good lesson.

Our semi's have a small warning sign in black and yellow on each side of the
rear at car driver eye height - 'Keep Clear of Turning Vehicle'. Good
advice.
