Thanks, Mike. This is the third tip from the OM list. It turned out to
be Impatiens "Celebrette Orchid Star". It is quite striking.

Haven't seen the regular (?walleriana) around for past two years.
Not sure how long the spores can persist,but they likely shouldn't be
