An AGA is actually the modern equivalent of an old cast iron wood-burning AGA.
:) They've been around since the early 30's, and are somewhat of a design icon.
Our new house has a wood-burning Rayburn (No. 3) from the 50's(?) which are not
quite as iconic but Rayburn were iconic enough that they're now a division of
AGA.
