Chuck is right on, in this issue.
In fact, I came to know on this subject matter at this List, during 2011.
It's not _that_ difficult to follow the instructions ... even I myself
succeeded in doing so.
Coolscan 4000ED still working fine on w7.
Recently I found myself looking for a FW400 -> USB adapter, because
the cable seems to be misbehaving.
My Asus motherboard has a FW400 female connector.
But who knows if next one will ....
