The best jape I saw on this was the Seagull D55 digital manual SLR joke that
originated with a local dealer in Melbourne - it still turns up from time to
time as a 'real' thing. Basically a Seagull manual body with a Minolta manual
lens mount and a sensor shoved into it. It was clever, plausible (cheap DSLR
for the Chinese masses) and actually quite a good idea. I still think it could
have worked. Also it was a careful set up and the reveal wasn't easy or obvious.
