Back to Bill's clarification, I think I would probably suggest the
latest/greatest iPad. He's already buried into the Apple ecosystem and
is one of those MFA types that MUST use Apple or be drummed out of the
community. It's a VERY intolerant world in those circles.
To your point, I still maintain that iOS is brilliant for "consuming
content", but other than taking pictures with the built-in
InstagramOcam, it is simply horrid for "creating content". Not that
you can't, but I can eat my morning breakfast Cheerios out of a bunt
cake pan with a serving spoon too. Just because you can doesn't mean
that you should or really want to. But when all the other dishes are
sitting in the sink with a week old crust, you do what you need to do.
On the creating content front, I'm much more pleased with the Android
platform. However, there is just one thing that keeps me crawling back
to iOS and that's iTunesU and podcasts. As the song goes... "Nobody
does it better..."
