Karen and I spent a lovely day with Brian on Monday.
Actually, we had dropped by his home town of Clyde on Sunday, to meet
him in person and see his photos on exhibition/sale at Clyde on Sunday,
a periodic outdoor market in the old town. Great images, and a pleasure
to see them as prints, always better than just monitor/display.
Then virtually the whole day Monday with Brian and his ZuikoHauler,
through a variety of field, forest, lake, river, and mountain
countryside with Brian's informed commentary on both flora and geography.
A picnic lunch at river's edge near Makarora, and at the end of the day
a brief visit to Brian's home and a chat with his partner Maggie.
Oh, and some photos. I'll put some images up on zone-10 in a few weeks,
when I'm back home and have caught up on whatever I've neglected for six
weeks.
