Thanks for looking and the gentle reminder to pay more attention to the
WB--as you saw very mixed lighting.
I bet your upcoming shots in the greenhouse will be excellent.
I very much like "Massies" ( Masdevallia) but not sure I want one. The
high altitude Andes ones like mid 60's and high humidity. Get a bit
dry--they die,
Water not close to distilled with very low minerals, they die. Too warm
they die. Look at them funny-- they are gone in a day. Some of the
hybrids and ones form lower altitudes are a more tolerant- but others
almost defy cultivation. One trick is to buy a "cool pot" or make your
own by growing in sphagnum moss in a clay pot with holes and place in a
larger clay pot with damp moss between and have a small pancake fan
blow over it. They like good air movment too.
