Over 50 photogs I hear were there on Saturday but about a dozen when
Marnie and I went on Sunday. Allowed first admission for an hour
before the public allowed in and use any gear. No tripods after it
opens.
Always feel too rushed trying focus stacks--may require new strategy
for next year. Odd assortment of gear as usual. Guy with NEX 6 had
this humongous watch gizmo with live view and radio remote.
It was fun to watch but my 15 buck yabe wired remote worked just fine.
Last I checked very few skittish orchids. Ahh, found it:

Oh, we won a door prize: you guessed it an orchid--it is this
one---http://www.marblebranchfarms.com/ot018.html
At least it is small and an easy keeper as orchids go. Just what we
needed --#71.
