I don't personally have any experience with the R glass, but use OM
Zuikos on mine as a matter of course. I agree with everything you say.
For all the flaws (of which they are legend), the camera comes across
as a timeless classic. Nobody waxes lyrical about the Canon 30D, but
the DMC-L1 remains a special camera for the half dozen people who
actually bought one.

The XE2 is nice and affordable--excellent bang for the buck. But it's
a good thing the XT1 has moisture seals, because it's seriously
drool-worthy.
