I started with the Fuji E-1 then E-330 then E-3 then E-P2 then canon 5D
mk2 then E-M1 we won't count the 6 or so compacts I tried BUT the
XPro-1 is the first one I don't feel the compunction to get the next
newest and shiniest thing, maybe I have matured or maybe its because I
have easy control. I mean in reality for me I need a spot AF point and
with exposure there is only iso, shutter speed and aperture that affect
it so with aperture priority it leaves me with only iso and speed to
think about which are accessed without menus. the rest of my
concentration can then be on composure. There will be other things that
matter to other people but for my shooting I like to be in control and
keeping it simple.
Then there is fill flash which is equally easy just stick the flash on
and set the amount and it just gets it right.
Maybe the X-T1 will trigger my GAS but I am in no rush!.
