Sujet : Re: [OM] So, which Fuji body has the secret sauce???
I can't help but wonder whether Fuji has missed the boat. It looks quite good
compared to an OM-D EM-1 but against the Sony a7? I like the Fuji lenses and
sensor but again, full frame and availability of Zeiss glass in a similar size
package for just a bit more? (about $200 here - Fuji kit, $1800-$2000, a7 kit
$2200 with free grip and Metabones adapter, a7R - $2400 body only and I found
it as low as $2100).
And no lenses to match
Unless you have legacy ones and are ready to use focus peaking
Ph
And my early experience with the X-Pro 1 was frustrating - slowest write to
card time I've ever had to overcome. I was missing a lot of street moments. I
know they claimed a firmware improvement but when I tried someone's example in
a casual 'can I check something' kind of way, it didn't seem much better. Have
they sorted that?
I also note that the UK price for body only from a 'warehouse' is more than the
US price for body with kit lens ($400) more). Strewth - even we don't get
VAT'ted that badly.
