Yeah, if nothing else, to set the anti-shock. OTOH, once set up as one likes,
one need not deal with the menus. With the
Super Control Panel, pretty much all settings are easily available. And they
are consistent across Oly µ4/3 models,
which is no small thing when operating more than one regularly.
I'm apparently so far gone that I find the Oly menus seem much easier to use
than the Panny. The larger number of
folders, with meaningful names makes finding settings easier, for me.

The E-P5, of Shutter Shock fame, is slightly smaller, but weighs essentially
the same as the X-Pro1.

Six by six. So decoding 36 pixels per block, vs. 4 pixels for Bayer.

Interesting idea. I've certainly seen double image blurring greater than three
pixels, but that's with long tele.
