7 degrees F. at the time of that ride. Fortunately, I was able to work my
E-5 without taking off my gloves, which is surprising given their
thickness. Unfortunately, my hands were still not adequately covered to
make the ride any longer than it was. I have some battery-warmed gloves I
bought for motorcycling a number of years ago, and while they weren't
adequate for truly cold weather riding on a motorcycle, they might do the
trick for bicycle riding.
