Yes, they are better than the dog at letting us know when anybody comes in
the driveway! Or when a branch has fallen in the yard. Or when there is a
strange animal around. Or when any piece of lumber is in a strange place.
Or when the other birds are trying to eat their corn. They squawk a lot!
