I have no knowledge of the "Just a Bunch of Disks" box but it's my
pseudo-educated guess that the amount of space being withheld is for a
directory structure and perhaps some other management overhead required
by the Disks box. You stated that it wants to keep 745.52GB. I think
you're off by a factor of 1,000 since that number is almost 250 times
the size of the drive. I suspect what it wants is 745.52 *mega*
bytes... which is equal to 0.74552 *giga* bytes... or less than 0.1% of
the total space. Nothing to worry about. Just let it do its thing.
