I have a 3 sail Trlby with the 20ft tails. They are described as
indestructable but managed to break some fiberglass struts
crashing at high speed ain10 deg weatheron the beach. Marnie doesn't
like me to fly 'em with any one on the beach within half a mile.
They honored the unconditional life time guarantee and sent me the
parts. Sadly they are out of production the past couple years.
I've seen people flying a 12 pack of them ---dipping the tails in the
ocean--very cool. Perhaps Moose would like a try next visit or AG if he
finds himself
in New England.
Oh, I see the record is 104 Trlbys: Sorry for the lousy shots but that
is all I could find. And I thought a dozen was plenty.
