EV of -0.3 doesn't seem enough to explain such underexposure. Metering was set
for Multi-Segment, Oly's current name for
what they originally called ESP metering, on the OMPC. It's usually not fooled
by this sort of subject.
Also, EXIF says flash was used. Flash has its own, separate EV setting. I can't
see what it was in the EXIF. Neither
EXIFtool nor Viewer 3 seems to be able to 'see' all the camera settings, so I
don't know. But is it possible that Flash
exposure compensation was set lower?
