I wonder what's different between you and me.  I saw some of that same 
complaint in the B&H customer reviews.  I've never had a problem. 
Design changes?  Oly QC problem maybe?  I think one would have to be 
fairly deliberate to get the rubber eyeshield off the frame on mine.
