No, doesn't work. You can't do that with the driver door. It's a pick-up - it's
designed for use by rather dim people.
However, if you get some stuff off the back seat. lock that door and then reach
forward to lock the driver's door with the button while forgetting that your
keys are still in the ignition…
Only way I've managed to do it so far!
