I was thinking that way, until I priced a new switch on the web. At $40, new is
better than used and the hassle of
finding one. Of course, it is buried beneath an air bag and misc. other stuff,
so I've bought a steering wheel puller
and lock plate releaser, bringing my total cost to date to $57.
