As from 1:06 am on 1 November 2013, I'm officially a grandpa for the first time.
My 32 yo daughter produced a 3+ kg 54cm lad - thankfully without problems.
The latter part is a real relief - childbirth was always accompanied with major
problems when
she and her brother were born, not to mention the ones that didn't make it..
I'm not able to be there yet as I'm 500 km away with a pneumonia-ridden partner
... :-(
We are a slow-breeding family ....
