I remember crossing on the Kyle Rhea ferry in 1979. It can get quite
exciting due to the tidal race, our crossing was fairly exciting, but the
one before was, from an onlokers viewpoint quite frightening.
I don't think I have any photos of it from then, but I expect it was the
same ferry, as I think the Ballachulish ferry had closed by then.
