They each look fine, Paul, with Jamie's the better portrait.
I might have:
Moved Jamie to his left to remove the blue light from the shot;
Used portait orientation to match the subject;
Used colour for Billy;
Got Billy to move a bit: perhaps turn his shoulders away 45deg and turn his
head back, or tilt his head a little to his left.
