Norway is notoriously expensive when it comes to food and drink. Especially
drink.
Absolutely - I paid the highest bills/checks in my life at the restaurants, and
saw the most expensive wine bottle at the duty free shop too, i.e. 365,000.00
NOK or circa 33,000.00 euros which should be in the order of U$40,000 ...
Beer is ok, the local brands are tasty and not so expensive.
OTT the people are very friendly there and life seems to be in the cool lane :-)
