Over the years, I have had occasion to replace missing caps, and often I was
unhappy with the results. The I discovered the Tamron caps, and again am
happy. I have used them on any number of lenses, the craziest was when the
silly press on cap for my Hasselblad 50 went of into the bowels of Mesa
Verde, which I fear will give generations of archaeologists pause thinking
how indeed did the ancient peoples get a Hasselblad. It also draws curious
stares from a few when they see it on a Hasselblad lens.

I also rather like the center-pinch lens-caps. I've got them for
almost evey lens or filter-ring size. When swapping lenses onto the
camera body, I'll usually swap the lens caps to keep the center-pinch
on the camera. Doesn't always work, but at least it's cheeper than
buying 25 of them.
I've run into a problem with a couple of the no-name ones. On the lens
side of the cap, the plastic housing extends out enough that it can
actually touch the lens itself. I've had to do a little surgury on
them to correct that.
AG Caps.
