Hi Chuck,
My wife actually chose the car, back in 1989. I noted the same thing about
the lines. I purposely avoided one with a rack on top, because it broke up
the long lines, as well as increased the air drag.
I noted this once more as I took the photo that I posted. It is a classic
design.
