My old carburetor aspirated 911 distinctly lost some power over about 6-7000'.
The Audi 5000CS Turbo Quattro showed no
obvious effects from altitude. A turbo designed to reach max boost at
relatively moderate RPMs just dumps less out the
waste gate in thinner air. :-) Yes, it displayed the boost, max 1.2 atms.
