The picture frame idea may be sound. I've never used one. If there's someone to
set them up, an iPad could be good. The
image quality on the iPad 3 & 4 display is wonderful. I can't imagine any
picture frame comes even close. With old eyes,
bright, clear and saturated might be helpful.
With the images loaded in and put into albums by date and/or occasion for them,
it would be very easy to use. With a
little adapter, it will easily load new images as they are generated. I've not
done it, but I think it can be set to do
that automatically when the SD card is inserted?
Cloud storage sync would be transparent to them, while providing a back-up.
That then provides an opening for sharing
with family and friends. Load new pics, they are synced automatically, and are
available to others.
As long as no one calls it a computer, one might later, after they are
comfortable, get them on email. Then then can
look at pics from their progeny.
Then, maybe, other useful apps. :-)
