Google for 'banketletter', that is the Dutch word. Plenty images and
slightly more on topic then a search for 'dutch letter' gives you.
They are still rather popular in Holland, especially around Sinterklaas and
Christmas. But you can buy them year round. Sinterklaas is the Dutch
version of Santa Claus, celebrated December 5th.
