What the dickens are you talking about, AG? Floating dutch letters? Gaffer
taping pastries?? Are dutch letters any different from french letters?
Confused

Subject: [OM] End of the photography
Well, yesterday we wrapped up the photography for what is now a three year
book project. We've got the shooting done!!!! Yee Haa!
Tons of editing to be done. We'll be doing some serious photoshopping of
images to place the letters in places we couldn't reach. Like 75 feet up on
a tower, or 20 feet out on the blade of a spinning windmill... Stuff like
that.
The entire project was shot on film and proved to be quite compelling
because the look/feel of the images is very distinct as it was done all with
the OM system and Ektar 100 film. Most shots were done with the 35-80/2.8
zoom, but we used just about everything to complete the project. Two shots
in particular used the 300/4.5, another the 200/4, one the 100/2 and another
the 28/2. If I recall correctly, I think one shot was done with the 24/2.8
and another with the 50/1.4. But, mostly the 35-80 was used.
There was one picture that I had envisioned doing that finally came
together. We floated one of the "dutch letters" across a pond through a
fountain. We had enough wind to make it happen, otherwise we would have
needed to use fishing line. It took three tries to get it floated across. We
gaffer taped the letter "F" to three packing "bubbles".
I'll photoshop out the packing bubbles.
Note: Gaffer tape does not adhere to two-year-old pastries.
