While Jesus and the USA are tightly linked in many places in this
country I think you guys are reading too much into this little sign. In
how many other ways could this little (short and very wide) sign be
displayed? Yes, it's a cross-bar on an upright but the bar is not
centered on the upright. If you ask me the old post and support
probably used to support a mailbox. The guy made use of what he had.
Similarity to a cross is a bit strained I think.
