It's kind of you to say that, Philippe, but our roads are in a dreadful state.
I sometimes yearn to drive in the Netherlands or Germany where they take time
in building and repairing roads to a high standard.
There's nothing wrong with having to drive slowly, in my opinion: it means that
people have to plan ahead and use less fuel per journey.
