Very much worth the effort.
Very nice shot--I do like the crop. Curious about the choice of tilt.
7deg tilt for 50mm lens would be "optimum" for perpendicular distance
form lens to focal plane (assumes level cam)
to be about 15 inches from my tables that I often regret ignoring.
There were also vertical elements rather close and you mentioned a
steep slope.
I occasionally use my Mirex t-s adapter for OM on OM or Canyon but it
is a difficult process (for me) to get things correct. Even with the
Imax OM VF's it is nice to be able to magnify things.
