Most RadioShacks (name is condensed today) have reduced component supplies
to a couple of drawers, if any. Mostly just connectors and adapters and
consumer electronics.
I remember as a kid how exciting it was when Mom would take me to the
closest Radio Shack at a mall 50 minutes away, and I'd have my Forrest Mims
project book with the parts list as I pored over the racks and racks of
parts to build some gizmo. Happy times.
