Jus so you know, the guy that know who shoots this stuff shoots everything
today with a Canon, cause they pay him to use it, but before, he did this
kind of stuff with either a 'blad of a 4x5.
And you could rent the 16-35.

I'm going to crawl out on a wing here, but I would think that if you
can't make do with a 24mm on FF, then you might want to take up
knitting. You'll not be wasting anything in cropping, though. If need
be, do a three-frame stitch with the camera oriented vertically.
Or do what makes most sense to me. Use this as an excuse to buy that
new super-wide. :)
