I misjudged Mars for *years* until a couple of years ago, when my wife
and I were on our way back from Milwaukee and, on a whim, decided to
just stop and see what it really was. Blew us away. There's also a
pretty good restaraunt there as well, and they built a nice-looking new
building right behind the old one a couple of years back. The sign
still screams, "Tourist Trap!!!" but the goods inside are wonderful.
Last stop netted a couple of pounds of various cheeses, including a
tasty smoked Wisconsin cheddar, and a couple of bottles of Door County
cherry wine.
