We feel your pain. When Esteemed Wife and I were touring the Secret Wartime
Tunnels at Dover Castle, the guide, a perky young thing with delightful accent,
kept calling the medical equipment artifacts. I could see the steam coming out
of Joan's ears, because those artifacts were the same instruments she used in
nursing school. I thought it was pretty funny. All the communications gear down
there was much more archaic than the gear I used in the Army.
