All questions of morality of less-than-kosher acquisition or use of
copyrighted material (software, music, or even a photographer's images)
aside, it should be noted that the usual crackz/warez approach usually
entails some sort of 'surprise' for the end user in the package. In a
lot of cases there is some sort of worm/trojan/bot included that turns
the user's computer into a spam source or botnet zombie without the
user's knowledge.
