Frankly, I doubt anyone who bothers getting CS2 free is the sort of person
who would bother buying an adobe version of anything. CS2 is so far behind,
Adobe doesn't care anymore, but can't officially give it away, since it
would set a precedent.

Generally, those who want CS free, just go straight to CS5 or 6, and
download/install those for free (trivially easy, with a little googling).

The only people bothering to do the end-run and get CS2 for free are those
who don't know how to get CS5 or 6 free and see this as some sort of
"opportunity"...  

If one is going to bother to pirate CS, get the latest version, at least.
